agricultural landscapes |
 |
Perhaps I owe it to the memories of my Kentucky girlhood,
driving the country roads from Paducah to Owensboro to visit my grandparents.
I felt such an affinity for the agricultural landscapes that I found
in west and central Montana. Perhaps it's because so many of those
fields contained silos of metal, one of my favorite photographic
subjects. Most likely, I created this series because the farm fields
of Montana, like the people of that beautiful state, are downright
charming and I wanted to take a little piece of them with me.
